As we find ourselves coming out of two periods of lockdown, we turn our thoughts to the devastation to our garden environment and interior damage caused by abandonment.
We have concentrated all our efforts in cleaning internal spaces, making them safe for our students, staff, volunteers and the general public, restoration of Wildlife Pond, removing old composting bins, demolishing an old metal garage and weeding…….and weeding……and weeding.
We are returning to some kind of normality, however, there is still much to do.
First there is our major refurbishment, see photos. It’s taken many years to raise the money for this undertaking. A massive thanks go to, The Wolfson Foundation, Dumfries and Galloway, Regionwide Coastal Benefit Fund and the Galloway Association of Glasgow for sponsoring Potters Garden.
We plan to build a new propagation unit, renovate our buildings, making them fit for purpose
